Yellowstone National Park is in the United States. It is famous for its geysers, hot springs, and wildlife. Yellowstone sits on top of a dormant volcano. Underground heat creates amazing natural features.

Yellowstone is also home to many animals. Bison roam the plains freely. Wolves hunt in the forests. Bears and elk live in the park too. It is a natural preserve where wildlife is protected.
Visiting Yellowstone is like stepping into a different world. The landscapes are diverse, from mountains to lakes to meadows. National parks like Yellowstone remind us to protect nature. Our planet is full of incredible places.
Victoria Falls
Victoria Falls is one of the largest waterfalls in the world. It is located on the Zambezi River, on the border between Zambia and Zimbabwe in Africa. The local people call it "The Smoke That Thunders."
The waterfall is over 1,700 meters wide. Water plunges down into a deep pool below. The spray rises high above the falls and can be seen from far away. It looks like smoke. The sound of the water is like thunder.
During the rainy season, the volume of water is enormous. The falls become a curtain of water. In the dry season, you can see the rock face behind the water. Both views are spectacular.

Giant's Causeway

The columns were formed by ancient volcanic activity. About 60 million years ago, lava cooled and cracked into these amazing shapes. The result is a natural pattern that looks man-made.
There is a local legend about the causeway. It says a giant built it to cross the sea to Scotland. The story makes the place even more interesting for tourists.
Visitors walk on the columns and explore the coast. Some columns are tall, like pillars. Others are low and flat. Giant's Causeway is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. It shows how creative nature can be over millions of years. It is a truly magical place.
Zhangjiajie
Zhangjiajie is a scenic area in Hunan Province, China. It is famous for its tall sandstone pillars. These pillars rise high into the sky, often covered in mist. The view is absolutely spectacular.
There are over 3,000 stone pillars in Zhangjiajie. The forest grows on top of the pillars. A cable car takes visitors above the forest. Walking across the glass bridge, you can look down and see the valley far below.
Zhangjiajie inspired the floating mountains in the movie Avatar. When the movie came out, tourists from around the world wanted to visit. The pillars really do look like something from another planet.

Guilin Karst Landscape

There is a Chinese saying: "Guilin's scenery is the best in the world." The breathtaking landscape attracts artists and photographers from everywhere. I hope to visit Guilin and see this wonder with my own eyes.
Huangshan (Yellow Mountain)
Huangshan, or Yellow Mountain, is one of the most famous mountains in China. It is located in Anhui Province. Huangshan is known for its granite peaks, ancient pine trees, and sea of clouds.
The mountain has 72 peaks. The paths are steep and challenging. Climbers must walk hundreds of stone steps to reach the top. But the view from the peak is magnificent.
Huangshan is famous for four things: strange pines, odd rocks, sea of clouds, and hot springs. The pine trees grow out of cracks in the rocks. They have unusual shapes and look very strong. The clouds flow between the peaks like a white sea.
Watching the sunrise from Huangshan is a memorable experience. The sun appears above the clouds and paints everything golden. Many painters and poets have been inspired by Huangshan. It is a true natural wonder of China.
Zhangye Danxia
Zhangye Danxia is a geological wonder in Gansu Province. It is known for its colorful rock formations. The rocks have red, yellow, orange, and green stripes. They look like a rainbow painted on the earth.
These formations were created over millions of years. Different layers of rock contain different minerals. Each mineral gives a different color. Wind and rain shaped the rocks into hills and valleys. The result is a stunning landscape.
The best time to visit is at sunset. The golden light makes the colors even brighter. The striped rocks glow against the sky. It is a photographer's dream. Visitors come from around the world to see this sight.
Zhangye Danxia shows that nature is the greatest artist. No human painting can compare to these colorful rocks. China is lucky to have so many natural wonders. I hope I can visit Zhangye and take beautiful photos.
